How does Carbon Poker compare to other poker rooms?

Those who choose Carbon Poker will have to accept the drawbacks of slower withdrawals athe relatively short list of accepted payment methods for deposits. The bonuses are similar to what other providers offer, but the absence of a VIP scheme is inconspicuously missing. They also have a well-balanced selection of games that goes beyond cash games and even found it worthwhile to include some popular casino games.

What are others saying about Carbon Poker?

Most of those who critic Carbon Poker are players who are unhappy with the tough competition at high limits. The commission charged on withdrawals as well as the  waiting time for cash outs from the list of complaints. The one thing that nobody complains about and actually applauds is the software which runs smoothly on all sorts of gadgets.

Professional players are disgruntled with the fact that competition at higher limits is tough, but action is dragging. They are also suffering the most from the fact that most types of poker software are strictly prohibited. Last but definitely not least, few players took the removal of the VIP club lightly. There are no obvious reasons for why the poker rooms decided to discontinue the service in 2014. Those who seek these types of advantages, can simply head on to PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker or PKR.

My rating of Carbon Poker

My honest opinion is that Carbon Poker trails both PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker at a distance. It is on par with PKR and PartyPoker in terms of promotions, bonuses and games offered. I couldn’t care less about the restrictions applying to poker tracking software. In fact I praise them for drawing the line, as far too many players rely upon these applications.

What I liked about this poker room is that it has flawless software that almost never crashes. This means a great deal for someone who spends a lot of time participating in tournaments that last many hours in a row. Some players have a hard time cashing out their profits. As far as I’m concerned, I’ve never had to wait too long to receive what was rightfully mine. At the same time, I can’t endorse the commission charged on most payment methods and this scarcity of deposit options. The review score is 7.5 out of 10, the consequence of Carbon Poker doing most things right, but having plenty to improve.
