My rating of PartyPoker
PartyPoker was the first poker room for me, as I was already a happy Gamebookers member. Much to their credit, they chose not to change the interface too much, so the transition was silky smooth. Over the years, I witnessed with satisfaction how the visuals have improved and more games were added. My only complaint back in the day was that the software used to crash annoyingly often. This is a major concern for tournament players, but the modern application is far more stable and reliable.
This used to be my poker room of choice for everything tournament related. I still enjoy playing every now and then in the $215 Sunday tournament even though I never made a really deep run. Their selection of cash games never ceases to impress me and I feel comfortable gambling large amounts here.
I acknowledge the progress made software-wise, but even though crashes are rare, they still cause immense frustration in this living room. The bottom line is that I enjoyed the smooth ride and stuck to PartyPoker during the rough spots. This poker room is still close to my heart and I enjoy rating it 9/10.
